Our activities are guided by the following principles:

A community of individuals and organizations working in unison to create a sustainable environment in the City of Ottawa.

Mission:
To be a leading partner with the City of Ottawa, individuals, organizations, businesses, and communities to foster environmental stewardship.

Our Goals:

Be a partner of choice for the City of Ottawa in carrying out environmental stewardship initiatives, augmenting the capacity of the City in those intiatives with volunteer resources and expertise.

Build OSC capacity and capability by leveraging partnerships and relationships with other organizations.

Have measurable and sustainable impact on environmental stewardship in the City by enabling long term stewardship by stakeholders in the community.

Spread and grow the capacity for environmental stewardship in Ottawa by acting as a model for other organizations: lead, connect, facilitate, foster, educate.

Build long term financial security to support OSC Vision, Mission, and Goals.
